  • Korg has released a virtual reality version of its Gadget music production software. When paired with a compatible headset, Gadget VR puts users into a virtual studio where you can play and control synths with gestures, write MIDI tracks, record audio and modulate sounds. The VR software is based on the user interface Korg developed for the Nintendo Switch. 3D "gadgets" and sequencers are arranged in a 360° environment surrounding the user. Six instruments are included in the virtual studio, all of which have been redesigned so they look more lifelike and are easier to control. Korg says it hopes the virtual studio will produce new workflows and fresh creative approaches to music making. Watch a demonstration of Gadget VR.
Gadget VR is available to download on Steam and Oculus, priced €29.99.
