PC Music will stop releasing new music after 2023.
The UK label broke the news via Instagram yesterday, July 25th. "After a decade of activity, 2023 will be PC Music's final year of new releases," the post read. "Following that, the label will be dedicated to archival projects and special reissues. We have an undisclosed number of new albums and singles coming very soon."
To accompany the announcement, PC Music has released ten ten-minute mixes, from label regulars such as Kane West, Ö, umru, caro♡ and BOPPLES.
Influential and often polarising, PC Music helped popularise the hyperpop sound via key releases from the likes of Danny L Harle, Hannah Diamond and founder A.G. Cook.
