  • A new queer club called Brutal MX is opening in Mexico City next month. According to founder Robin Garcia, the techno-focussed venue in Colonia Cuauhtémoc "was born as a need to generate a new safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and to create a forum for quality electronic music." Garcia's aim for the club's programming, he added, is "to bring the largest number of artists that haven't yet performed for the first time in CDMX" as well as foster "connections with electronic music artists from Latin America." The launch party on Saturday, June 3rd, will feature Noncompliant, Kodemul, AAAA and a back-to-back between Celice Monnette and Enya Botello. Other acts confirmed for later in 2023 include Boris, Matrixxman and Anastasia Kristensen. Find out more about the opening party via the event listing below.
