Speakers Corner Quartet are set to release their debut album.
Out on June 2nd through OTIH Records, Further Out Than The Edge incorporates elements of jazz and electronica with hip-hop, soul and R&B. It features multiple guests, including Tirzah, Sampha, Mica Levi, Coby Sey, Kelsey Lu, James Massiah and Shabaka Hutchings.
A crucial component of the South London jazz scene, Speakers Corner Quartet have been active since 2006, and derived their name from the Brixton spoken word and hip-hop session at which they were the in-house band. They will perform at Glastonbury and London venue The Roundhouse in June.
