South London club and record shop Rye Wax has announced a new youth mentorship programme.
Taking place across April and May, Rye Wax Music Access will feature workshops and masterclasses, and will pair industry mentors with aspiring musicians of a similar discipline.
Available to anyone aged between 18 and 25, the programme will see each mentor working with three young people across three sessions. Mentors include Lia Mice, FYI Chris, Medlar and The Golden Filter.
Applications from "QTIBPOC / global majority, disabled and other groups underrepresented in the music industry" are encouraged. The deadline for applying is 9 AM on April 10th.
Part of Peckham's CLF Art Cafe, Rye Wax launched in 2014. It shut during the pandemic and has yet to reopen.
