  • MasterSounds and Union Audio have released a new version of their flagship range of hand-built, valve-driven rotary mixers. Celebrating 15 years of MasterSounds, the Valve MK2 will be available as both two- and four-channel mixers. According to MasterSounds founder Ryan Shaw, the new version "elevates the DJ mixer's playability for discerning DJs, from club and bar owners to home DJs." Andy Rigby Jones, founder of Union Audio and product designer for the Valve MK2, said "the addition of VariableQ high-pass filters and an all-new EQ adds another level of playability and audio manipulation." He added: "The new MK2 comes fitted with an Innofader as standard and a revised RIAA preamplifier, which along with all the other changes makes this a significant update on the previous model." All MasterSounds and Union Audio products are built by hand in small numbers in Cornwall, England. Read more about the Valve MK2 via the website. Here are some photos.
