RA and SXSW to host panel and party with Debit, Rosa Pistola

- Resident Advisor is partnering with SXSW to host a panel discussion and a party. On Tuesday, March 14th, The Nighttime Lab will take place at Parkside, Austin, from 4 PM through 9 PM. Beginning at 5:30 PM, the panel, titled "Saving Space for Diverse Club Culture in Austin," will feature DJ Shani, Peligrosa Collective and representatives from Coconut Club and Club-E. RA's Nyshka Chandran will moderate. The group of local promoters and organisers will discuss the club and dance music scene in Austin and how culture in the city can best be supported. Curated by RA board member Lauren Goshinski, the programme is presented by German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New York, German Haus and VibeLab. The following day, RA and SXSW will host a party at Coconut Club from 8 PM through 2 AM. The lineup, playing across three rooms, will feature all Texas-based or Mexican artists. There are slots for Debit, Lao, Lucia, Paurro, Peligrosa, Rosa Pistola, Sines and Suxxy Puxxy. Entry is free for SXSW badge holders, or $15 tickets will be available on the door.
