  • Behringer has published images of a new Eurorack module inspired by the Roland Jupiter 8, a polysynth released in 1981. True to form, Behringer has released few details about the JT-2, but from the images it's a two-voice analogue instrument with circuitry that models the oscillator and filter of the 40-year-old synth. However, unlike the original, the JT-2 has only two voices of polyphony, rather than eight. It also only has a mono output and can't store patches. Behringer often teases products via social media to gauge whether there's enough demand to take an idea into production. In a Facebook post, Behringer said it could produce the JT-2 for $299 and invited readers to register their interest. Read the full post.
