  • Water & Music, a research and intelligence publication focused on music, has announced the latest instalment in its online education series. Focused on global music rights, the new seven-pronged course runs from February 21st to March 9th. The programme will take place via Zoom, offering information on copyright, publishing, licensing, monetisation and consumer behaviour in China, India, Latin America and Africa. Broader issues such as royalties and technological solutions will also be discussed. Each session will be devoted to a specific market or topic, led by experts in various fields. Classes will refer to real-world examples and include mandatory reading material. Interested participants can either register for the full music rights course ($200 for non-members) or individual sessions ($40 each for non-members). This is the third edition of Water & Music Academy, the platform's education arm. Previous courses covered Web3 music communities and the metaverse.
