Detroit producer 2Lanes is turning his party series, Auto Shop, into a label.
Arriving December 5th, the first release, Standing Waves, is a collaborative EP with fellow Motor City artist Jonah Baseball under the joint alias, Overtone Series. The four-track EP spans psychedelic deep house and downtempo with three additional Bandcamp exclusives "influenced by labels like Guidance Recordings," 2Lanes told Resident Advisor.
Standing Waves follows 2Lanes' self-released EP, The Cosmic Faint, from March. In 2020, he released Baby's Born To Fish... / Impish Desires on Shigeto's Portage Garage Sounds.
