  • Sydney promoter Soft Centre is curating its first four-day experimental festival this November. From the 24th through 27th, UNFURL will take place at six sites across the city, including churches, an abandoned Chinatown cinema, an empty office space and the Royal Botanic Garden. The programme spans live sets, audiovisual exhibitions, raves, workshops and discussions, with performances from ABADIR, Anuraag, E3P, Senyawa and more. There's also a workshop titled "Lost Futures of Me at the Zoo," which will discuss the potential of YouTube as a DJ tool. Launched in 2017, Soft Centre has hosted yearly one-day festivals, welcoming the likes of A Made Up Sound, Gabber Modus Operandi and RP Boo.
