Parisian record label Antinote is celebrating its tenth birthday with a new VA compilation.
Out November 25th, X: Ten Years Of Loving Notes And Foolin' Around! consists of 18 new tracks from artists who have found a home on Antinote over the past decade, such as River Yarra, D.K., Geena, Alek Lee and Domenique Dumont.
Also featured on the LP are Low Jack, Ron Morelli, Nico Motte, Chimère FM (the collaborative project of I:Cube and John Cravache) and Iueke, who was responsible for the label's maiden release, a collection of previously unheard improvised techno experiments titled Tapes, in 2012.
Founded and spearheaded by Zaltan, Antinote is known for its adventurous leftfield output, spanning EBM, Balearic, cosmic disco and more. Other artists who have released on the label include Toulouse Low Trax, Raphaël Top-Secret and Nathan Melja.
Manchester venue SOUP is throwing a tenth birthday party for Antinote on Saturday, November 5th, featuring sets from D.K., Iueke and Zaltan.
