Dublin promoter and management agency District 8 is launching an academy of industry-focused workshops.
A collaboration with Elevator Program, the November 18th event will run from 9 AM through 5 PM at The Sugar Club. The aim is to help young people better understand various aspects of Ireland's dance music scene.
The first confirmed panellists are artists Saoirse, Obskür, NANCY Live and Cailín, plus booking agent Jim O'Regan, Bodytonic promoter Ellen Harney, Hï Ibiza's Sam "Sparrow" Mooney and Cormac Cashman, the brains behind popular LGBTQI+ party Mother.
Topics include DJing, running a record label, music production, and event production and management, as well as diversity and mental health in the industry.
