New London listening bar opens in a butcher shop

System runs every Wednesday and Thursday out of Islington spot Stella's.
North London has a new listening bar. Featuring a vintage Tannoy sound system from 1976, System sits inside Islington butcher shop Stella's, which opened last December. The bar runs on Wednesday and Thursday from 7 PM through 11 PM, with different local DJs playing each night. Upcoming highlights include Susanna Raiend, Kojay, Oliver Kay, Where's G, Jembut, Fergus Jones and founder Jojo Mathiszig (AKA Ill Evans), who also runs Clerkenwell record shop and radio station Kindred. Stella's is from the same team behind popular butcher shop and restaurant Hill & Szrok on Broadway Market. Check out some photos of System.
