- DAT Tapes 1993-1994 is out October 28th via Antwerp label De:tuned.
UK techno act Nuron + Fugue, AKA Nurmad Jusat, is releasing a compilation of unearthed DAT tapes from the '90s.
Arriving on October 28th, DAT Tapes 1993-1994 spans eight previously unreleased tracks. Seven are in Jusat's signature melodic style, similar to his releases on legendary '90s label Likemind, while the eighth is a remix by another UK techno veteran, Stasis.
The compilation is out on Antwerp label De:tuned, which released EPs by Nuron in 2020 and 2021. Speaking to Resident Advisor, label cofounder Ruben Boons said Jusat's music "has the rare gift to evoke certain emotions, it always touches the right spot and triggers your inner soul."
