  • Spanish fashion company ZARA has removed a hoodie it was accused of plagiarising from SlothBoogie. The childrens' hoodie featured a very similar design to the Dancing WIth Friends logo SlothBoogie uses, designed by Steve Gavan, as well as the phrase "support local parties." After Gavan made SlothBoogie aware of the hoodie, the promoter and record label posted about it on Instagram. Now, after speaking to Resident Advisor for an article earlier today, September 12th, the hoodie has disappeared from shops. "The company have sent urgent requests internally to take all the stock out of the shops and send them back to headquarters," SlothBoogie said in an Instagram Story on Monday evening. "But yet still no communication from them with us... luckily we've got some sloths on the inside." RA has reached out to ZARA for comment and has yet to receive a response.
