- Visitors to the space, which sits in the Portuguese countryside, will have access to a range of digital and analogue hardware.
Steffi and Virginia are launching Candy Mountain, a label, studio and creative hub in a remote corner of Portugal.
Located around an hour from Lisbon, the countryside music retreat comes with "a ton of vintage analogue and digital gear," the duo told Resident Advisor, and "sits in the middle of nature with access to many hiking routes."
They added: "Artists can live and work under the same roof with zero distractions in a tranquil environment, and enjoy locally produced food from the neighbouring organic farms."
As well as working on solo projects, guests can collaborate with local artists, work on music for the in-house label and even try creative writing. Later down the line, Candy Mountain plans to host events, radio shows, livestreams and exhibitions. The label is also launching soon.
Work on Candy Mountain began in 2020 when both artists swapped Berlin for the Portuguese countryside. "Our goal is to select, connect and present local and international artists to a worldwide audience," they told RA.
