  • Tycho is set to release the next installment in the celebrated Back To Mine mix series. Across 16 tracks, Back To Mine: Tycho touches on chillwave, downtempo, IDM and breaks. The compilation also features two unreleased tracks from the Los Angeles-based artist, including a remix of Little Dragon's "Little Man," and an edit of Tycho's "PBS" from 2006. "I wanted to take things one step further than one of my club or Burning Man sets as I knew this was an opportunity to enter that whole headphone, other worldly, cinematic, soundscape space," said Tycho. "I wanted the album to be almost like a dream sequence for the listener." To support the release, Tycho will play a headline show at London's Alexandra Palace Theatre on Saturday, October 1st. Today, the artist has also launched a web3-based "music fan community," Tycho Open Source, which will offer fans access to exclusive content, pre-sale tickets, merch discounts and more. Back To Mine: Tycho follows the series' previous edition by Horse Meat Disco from April 2022. Launched in 1999, Back To Mine has since featured the likes of New Order, Carl Cox and Nightmares On Wax, among others. Listen to a preview of Back To Mine: Tycho.
