Manchester night Phuture welcomes DJ/producer Audio Werner on Good Friday for the first of two nights showcasing artists from Cologne record label Traumschallplatten.
Audio Werner (real name Andreas Werner) has had releases on Traum sub-label Trapez, Matthias Schaffhauser's Ware label and Matthias Tanzmann's Moon Harbour Recordings. His most successful release to date, 'Zwtshak Drive' on Hartchef, received heavy rotation from the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Guido Schneider and Andre Galluzzi and reached number one in Germany's Groove Magazine charts.
In the last twelve months Werner has received a lot of support from Traum head honcho Triple R (aka Riley Reinhold), who signed two of his tracks and also featured his 'Just Get Down' release on his 'Selection 4' compilation. Werner has played at many of Germany's most respected venues and festivals including Studio 672, Watergate, Panorama Bar and the C/O Pop Festival.
Support at the Phuture night in April will come from Phuture resident Leo and local DJ Joel Merrick who will both be throwing down all things acid, minimal and techno.
The second of the Traum nights will take place on May 12th featuring Spain's Alex Under and Dave Martin from Leeds night, Technique.
