  • Hudson Mohawke has announced his third album. Cry Sugar touches on various styles of club music across 19 tracks. Influenced by film composers such as Vangelis and John Williams, the record is described in a press statement as "Mohawke’s own demented OST to score the twilight of our cultural meltdown." Cry Sugar arrives August 12th via Warp Records. To celebrate news of the release, the Glasgow producer has unveiled a seperate single called "Cry Sugar (Megamix)," a mix of tracks on the album. Cry Sugar follows Ded Sec - Watch Dogs 2, the artist's 2016 soundtrack for the namesake videogame, and 2015's Lantern. Since then, Mohawke has released a three-part series of archival music—B.B.H.E, Poom Gems and Airborne Land. Listen to "Cry Sugar (Megamix)."
