  • Youtube has unveiled a new site to help artists grow their platforms, the company announced during a panel at this week's A2IM Indie Week in New York City. Designed to provide a "blueprint for [artists] to get started growing and maintaining their own digital discography," said Eric Knapp, YouTube's manager of music publishing partnerships and strategy, the revamped site includes an array of tips, educational videos, case studies and detailed roadmaps for artists and publishers to build their channels with effective content strategies and user engagement practices. The launch comes two weeks after Spotify unveiled their own artist resource hub, In Focus.
