  • Composer and experimental artist Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith has a new album on the way. Let's Turn It Into Sound is due out August 26th on Ghostly International. Across twelve tracks, Smith employs a new vocal processing technique she created as she explores avant-garde pop, baroque, neoclassical and experimental terrain. "The album is a puzzle," the LA-based producer said in a statement. "[It] is a symbol of receiving a compound of a ton of feelings from going out into a situation, and the song titles are instructions to breaking apart the feelings and understanding them." The record follows I Could Be Your Dog/I Could Be Your Moon, her LP with Emile Mosseri released earlier this year, also on Ghostly. Watch the official video for "Is It Me Or Is It You?"
