- It's happening June 17th at Brooklyn Mirage.
- New York City promoter Ladyfag is bringing LadyLand Festival back to Brooklyn. Taking place June 17th across three stages at Brooklyn Mirage, the 2022 edition will feature sets from acclaimed queer and trans DJs and live acts like Honey Dijon, Ariel Zetina, local favorite Goth Jafar, Sevdaliza, Tinashe and Shygirl. "LadyLand Festival was started as—and still is—a celebration of Pride," Ladyfag told Resident Advisor. "This year we're doing it the weekend before Pride as a kick off to the festivities! I love the idea of going to festivals but usually hate the crowd and felt like I didn't belong there. I wanted queers to have a festival that belonged to them." The festival will also include drag performances, tattooing, tooth gemming courtesy of NYC-based artist Dorian Ferrer and shopping via New York jewelry brand and creative studio CHRISABANA. LadyLand Festival 2022 follows last year's edition, which featured sets from Christina Aguilera, Caroline Polacheck, SKIN and Michael Magnan.
