iZotope has released a new edition of Neutron, its AI-powered mixing software.
Among the new features on Neutron 4 are a Target Library that matches the tone of tracks to samples and a control center that offers increased speed and personalisation. There's also a function called Unmask Module that automatically identifies and resolves clashing frequencies in a user's mix. Each of these new elements run on machine learning.
Other additions include the integration of Trash, iZotope's classic distortion plugin, a Punch mode that shows users how hard a sound hits and new sidechain metering.

Neutron 4 is included in a new collection of production tools called Music Production Suite 5 Universal Edition but it's also available as a standalone item for $299. For more information, check iZotope's website.
