  • A slew of music and audio tech companies have come together to create a new entity called Soundwide. Consisting of Native Instruments, iZotope, Plugin Alliance, Brainworx and the newly-formed SoundStacks, Soundwide aims to develop "the world’s most extensive ecosystem of audio creation products." A board of artists will advise the company on the needs of creators and product development. Board members include Alicia Keys, El-P of Run the Jewels, Noah “40” Shebib, Young Guru, Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson and production duo Take a Day Trip. Soundwide was born from a 2021 merger between Native Instruments and iZotope. To celebrate its launch, the company is giving away eight plugins from April 12th to April 26th.
