New York's new Wire Festival books Etapp Kyle, LSDXOXO and Schacke to play Knockdown Center

- The team behind BASEMENT is putting on the festival in May.
- The crew behind the Ridgewood techno club BASEMENT has launched a festival at its sister venue, Knockdown Center. Taking place across two stages on Friday, May 20th, and Saturday, May 21st, Wire Festival will host heavyweights Richie Hawtin, DJ Stingray 313 and DVS1 alongside local DJs like Akua, KYRUH, WTCHCRFT and Juliana Huxtable. Europe-based DJs such as LSDXOXO, Etapp Kyle, Schacke and VTSS have also been booked. The two-day event will feature art and lighting installations to complement the music. During the day, the festival will oversee panel discussions centering issues of the electronic music scene, which will be followed by action plans. Check out the full lineup and event listing below.
