- The nine-track LP arrives June 3rd via his own label, Limousine Dream.
A new Gene On Earth album is on the way.
Time On The Vine will come out via the Berlin-based artist's Limousine Dream label on June 3rd. Spanning nine spaced-out, melodic cuts, the album sees Gene On Earth exploring less dance floor-focused territory. It's his first LP since his breakthrough debut, Local Fuzz, in 2019.
"My goal was to go outside of my comfort zone genre-wise, while simultaneously honing further in on the sound and mood I love—positive, melodic, functional and at times psychedelic," he told Resident Advisor. "My hope is that it plays like a bonafide electronic album, but in such a way where having real club tunes set in between all other sorts still makes perfect sense, rather than feeling forced or shoehorned in. It's the amalgamation of my love for both underground club tunes and stony headphone electronic music into a complete piece."
Time On The Vine follows Limousine Dream's 2021 compilation, The Sound Of Limo, and Gene On Earth's 2020 EP, The Juggler.
