  • Elkka's label femme culture has revealed the latest instalment of its compilation series supporting UN Women. Touching on breaks, techno and UK bass across 19 tracks, HeForShe x femme culture Vol. 4 is the label's first release since late 2020. Contributors include Al Wootton, Bambounou, Elkka herself, moktar, SUCHI, Jennifer Loveless, Breaka, Nicola Cruz and Ayesha. Revenue raised from album sales will be split equally between two UN Women programs: Safe Spaces Now, which aims to build safe public spaces for women and girls, as well as Ukraine relief efforts. The compilation arrives digitally on April 15th. The HeForShe series debuted in 2018 and has raised funds for UN Women ever since. The previous edition in 2020 featured the likes of Violet, Bianca Oblivion and Yazzus. Going forward, femme culture plans to donate ten percent of profits from future releases to a cause that will be decided in consultation with artists. Listen to "Rezo" by Ayesha.
