  • Dive into Mumdance's musical past via his revamped website. Jack Adams has shared "316 hours of mixes, many of them previously unheard, alongside a detailed archive of all [his] work from 2008 onwards including equipment lists and sleeve notes for each track in the discography." The mixes include radio sessions, live mixes and podcasts, including sets with Riko Dan, Lady Starlight, DJ Die and DJ Storm. The archive follows a dormant period from Adams, whose last original music came out in 2018 via Local Action and STOOR. A statement accompanying the new website details his experience dealing with addiction. "As I complete my third year clean and sober, I wanted to share an archive of my work over the past 14 years," he wrote. "Over the last 12 months, I've slowly started to remember what I used to love about music. I have no real expectations of what comes next, but I'm grateful to have the beginnings of a healthier relationship with listening and creating." Since 2008, when the Mumdance archive begins, Adams has released on labels including Tectonic and Keysound, founded the Different Circles label with Logos, and collaborated with artists ranging from Pinch and Novelist to Speedy J. Head to the archive website, and revisit Mumdance's Art Of DJing feature from 2018. Read the full statement.
