  • Dialled In, a London-based festival showcasing South Asian creatives, returns for a second edition on April 9th. Live artists and DJs will play across three stages at arts space EartH in Hackney. Live highlights include Grammy-nominated artist Anoushka Shankar, The Jazz Diaries boss Jitwam, Paul Institute affiliate HIRA and Nabihah Iqbal, who will present an improvisatory performance alongside Raheel Khan and Paul Purgas. On a DJ tip, there are slots for Swing Ting's Samrai, anu, Manara, Yung Singh, SUCHI, Gracie T, Priya and Rohan Rakhit, among others. Following the festival, an afterparty with TBA guests is expected at Village Underground from 10 PM onwards. Ahead of April's main event, Dialled In is hosting a series of ticketed conversations at Rich Mix in Shoreditch. Running until March, the sessions will touch on colourism in the South Asian community and intergenerational exchanges. All proceeds will benefit Afghanaid. Dialled In, affiliated with London's Daytimers crew, held its debut festival last September. For more on that event, revisit our feature on Daytimers cofounder Yung Singh.
