Robert Yang, AKA Bézier, references the '80s new wave scenes of San Francisco and Valencia on their new release.
Valencia spans six tracks of dark synths, disco and techno—sounds that permeated both cities in that era. It's due on February 18th via San Francisco-based label Dark Entries. Valencia is the Honey Soundsystem cofounder's latest exploration of the new wave style after 府城 and 2018's Parler Musique, their most recent Dark Entries release.
Dark Entries is also no stranger to new wave music. Last year, it delivered Back Up: Mexican Tecno Pop 1980-1989, a compilation of Mexico's '80s synth tunes.
