Toronto-based online radio station ISO has put an open call for programming.
The three year-old venture, which streams out of a shipping container, needs to fill a few hour-long slots on Wednesdays and Sundays. The station is open to music as well as talk shows, a spokesperson told Resident Advisor. Current programming draws on a wide range of styles that include techno, drum & bass, ambient, Afrobeats and hip-hop. ISO is especially interested in working with Black, Indigenous and other women of colour. Interested applicants can email [email protected] with information about themselves, show ideas and a sample mix.
Toronto has recently clamped down on the size of indoor and outdoor gatherings but since ISO can only hold four people, it's able to stay open. Check ISO's Instagram post for more details on its open slots.
