Mixcloud and N-Studio are hosting a weekend of workshops for young artists on November 13th and 14th.
Broadcast via Mixcloud Live from N-Studio's London HQ, New Systems Academy will take place this coming weekend from 12 PM through 3 PM each day. DJ and presenter Lily Mercer will host, with workshops featuring the likes of Mina, New Scenery, Elijah, Good Night Out and Foundation FM.
There will also be live Q&As on Mixcloud chat with Black Music Coalition, Jordss and Bossy LDN's Izzy, and top UK drill producer M1 On The Beat.
"The industry can be complex and overwhelming," says Mixcloud's cofounder and CEO Nico Perez, "so we are committed to shedding light on how things really work behind the scenes!"
The workshops will cover topics like getting your music heard, radio production, how to make late-night spaces safer and more inclusive, and an introduction to applying for creative funding and grants.
New Systems Academy is open to artists aged 16 to 25. Tune in to Mixcloud Live from 12 PM on Saturday, November 13th.
