  • Shaun Roberts, former promotions manager at London club fabric, has launched a GoFundMe to help pay for his cancer treatment. After undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy on the NHS, Roberts was told he will never be cancer-free. His goal now is to extend his life for as long as possible. He's asking for £75,000 to cover treatment abroad. "The future of cancer treatment would appear to be in immunotherapy and I want to join the program at the CeGat Clinic in Tubingen, Germany," reads his post. "These people are REALLY clever. They will create a personal cancer vaccine for me. The goal will be to train my body to recognise cancer in my system and actively fight it—something that the body doesn't do naturally." Roberts, who worked at fabric for 16 and a half years, has already raised more than £50,000. Resident Advisor is one of the donors. Roberts took part in RA's charity cycle to ADE in 2014.
