Tobias. has a new solo album on the way, Hall Ov Fame.
Landing via Concentric Records on November 26th, the eight-track album is Tobias.'s first solo ambient venture. Entirely beatless, he composed each track as a soundtrack to an imaginary film. His previous albums, which span techno and experimental music, have come out through Ostgut Ton, Mule Musiq or his own label, Non Standard Productions.
Simone Merli and Luca Calo of Concentric told Resident Advisor that they and Tobias "met each other on an intersecting path—his desire to venture further into ambient and experimental music met our desire to present a new body of work from a wonderful, multi-disciplinary artist, one that deviates in sonic realm and genre from his artistic path until this point."
