- The first release is a vinyl edition of Idee Du Femelle's 1988 album, Sequences.
John Talabot's Hivern Discs and fellow Barcelona label Domestica Records are launching a new label.
The first release on Musica Maquina is by Idee Du Femelle, the Terrassa-based producer born Toni Parera. Parera released eight albums of proto-ambient techno in the '80s, including the 1988 standout Sequences. The reissue on September 30th will be the first-ever vinyl pressing of Sequences.
Talabot and Domestica Records boss Jordi Serrano created the new label after bonding over a shared fascination with Parera, whose albums were overlooked when they were first released.
