- Featuring Erika, Wata Igarashi, Donato Dozzy, Tin Man and more, 10 Years Of Acid Test is due out next month.
Acid Test is celebrating ten years in business with a new compilation.
10 Years Of Acid Test is a triple-LP release that features new tracks from both label stalwarts and newcomers. Among the regulars returning are Tin Man, Erika, John Tejada, Marcellus Pittman, Skudge, AAAA, Achterbahn D'Amour and Lerosa. Making their first appearance on the label are Wata Igarashi, Patricia (who has put out music on Acid Test as one half of Ociya), Andreas Tilliander (as TM404), Sepehr, VC-118A and SW. (who has released on Acid Test sister label Avenue 66).
The label was founded by Oliver Bristow in 2011 as an imprint of Absurd Recordings, but has since become a fully-fledged label in its own right. As the name implies, the label is meant to explore the full possibilities of acid house, with each release prominently featuring the Roland TB-303. The label has scored a number of dance floor hits over the years, most notably with Donato Dozzy's remix of Tin Man's "Nonneo."
