Raveolution and Voices Radio are hosting a two-part Afghan Solidarity event today, August 25th.
Kicking off at 11 AM (BST), the daytime part will be streamed on Voices Radio until 6 PM.. There will be DJs and guest speakers, including shows from Andy Blake and Daytimers' Riva. The speakers will be educating listeners on subjects like imperialism in Afghanistan, the fight against imperialism and international solidarity.
From 6 PM until late at The Utopia Rooms in Camden, Raveolution will host live music and DJ sets, poetry and spoken word performances, and talks from guest speakers. Attendees will also be asked to take part in small discussion groups to encourage active participation.
