- The five-track record features a song with lyrics about the Sheffield label.
CPU Records is putting out its 100th release on August 27th.
The Sheffield label will mark the occasion by releasing a new from Cygnus, the Texas producer who inaugurated CPU with the Newmark Phase EP back in 2012. 100% Dope features five new tracks, including "CPU Records," which features lyrics about the label, like, "CPU Records made a hundred wax / So much electro made across the map / CPU Records with a million songs / One robot singing on the intercom."
Over the last nine years, CPU has put out music from the likes of DMX Krew, Nadia Struiwigh, Annie Hall, Jensen Interceptor, Microlith, Blixaboy, B12 and more.
