The Resident Advisor and Point Blank Music School Young Producers scholarship programme returns this year.
After successful editions in 2018 and 2019, and a pandemic-related cancellation in 2020, the RA and Point Blank Music School scholarship programme is back in expanded form. In addition to the in-person sessions at Point Blank's London school, there will be an online edition open to applicants worldwide, and one taking place at the Los Angeles school. All the courses will be delivered in English.
Applications must be received by midnight on August 31st, 2021. Please email your completed application to: scholarships[at]pointblankmusicschool.com.
If you are selected as a finalist, you will be invited to attend a virtual panel interview between September 8th and 15th. Once all of the shortlisted applicants have been interviewed, the winner will be selected, contacted and officially announced on September 17th.
The Young Producers Scholarship is free to apply and open to applicants aged 18-25. It aims to provide a unique platform for a new generation of electronic music DJs and producers, with a focus on young artists who might not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue their passion. RA and Point Blank welcome applicants from all backgrounds, especially those who feel that they face difficulties when accessing the music scene due to their cultural background and/or socioeconomic status.
