  • The Bug has revealed his first solo album in seven years. Fire is a 14-tracker that rounds out an urban triptych that began in 2008 with London Zoo, followed by 2014's Angels & Devils. The LP will be released in digital, CD and vinyl formats and includes contributions from long-time collaborators such as Flowdan and Moor Mother, as well as the work of new recruits Nazamba and FFSYTHO. Logan features on the lead single "Clash," out today. "I've always been addicted to the physicality and intensity of sound," Martin said. "I started The Bug because I wanted to make music for a soundsystem I had in storage, and the live experience of The Bug has always been something I wanted to reflect on record—I'm always looking for fuel to the fire and live shows—and MISSING live shows in lockdown was a real impetus." Listen to "Clash."
