  • Mutant Beat Dance member and L.I.E.S. artist Steve Summers has a new LP on the way. Generation Loss will be released sometime this month via the New York label. A double album that explores various shades of Chicago house music, it spans 13 tracks and marks Summers' first full-length on L.I.E.S following a string of EPs. Summers, whose real name is Jason Letkiewicz, has previously released on other imprints such as Echovolt and Clone Jack for Daze. Last year saw Letkiewicz—whose other aliases include Rhythm Based Lovers, Alan Hurst and Malvoeaux—release his first album, The Reflecting Pool, under his birth name.
