US-based friends and collaborators of the late icon SOPHIE have set up an online auction.
"We have organised this online auction and sale of editions to honour her radical generosity, artistic vision, and commitment to supporting the trans* community," reads a post on the auction's website. Artists who have contributed works include Sparkly Nora Berman, peegirl and Renata Raksha.
Live for the next five days, the auction spans one-off pieces such as oil paintings of SOPHIE, sculptures and a silk dress, plus three prints available in a limited run of 100. All proceeds will go to Trans Justice Funding Project, an organisation that directly funds grassroots trans justice groups across the US.
