  • Check out some photos of Madrid record store Ater Cosmo's new space. Run by Unkle Fon and Fabio Moretti, Ater Cosmo has moved a short distance down the road in central Madrid, to a new location at Calle de la Puebla, 9. "Formerly we shared the space with a fashion store, and we were located for four years in a basement with no possibilities of expanding," Moretti told Resident Advisor. "For this project, we needed to create our own environment and this was only possible by changing the location to our own." Ater Cosmo is now expanding its catalogue of new and secondhand vinyl, installing more listening stations and building a DJ booth in the basement for label showcases, album launches and livestreams. The new, street-level space, which Moretti describes as "retro-futuristic and industrial," was designed by Andrea Eusebi. It also houses the office of Regal's label Involve and the booking agency Sowhul District. The owners, who have both been involved in the Madrid club scene for over 15 years, also run Ater Cosmo Records, releasing music from Eduardo De La Calle and Unkle Fon's duo, Tandem Planetae. Check out some photos of the new space.
