  • Chicago has a new music festival taking place in September. Designed as a "distinctly Chicago experience," ARC will take place from September 4th to 5th at Union Park. The lineup is heavy on local acts, including Derrick Carter, Gene Farris, DJ Pierre, DJ Heather and Hiroko Yamamura. Also on the bill are Patrick Topping, Seth Troxler, Hot Since 82 and Bob Moses, in addition to international names like Eric Prydz, Luciano and Nicole Moudaber. For the first time in a single weekend, Prydz will play sets under all three of his aliases—his usual name, as Cirez D alongside Adam Beyer and as his progressive house alter ego Pryda. Several parties at partnering venues around the city will also take place throughout the festival weekend. Those details have yet to be announced.
