Spanning 11 minutes, The Birth Of Punjabi Garage is out in full today, November 18th. Through archive footage and conversations with Singh and pioneers of the scene, it tells the story of a vital UK sound.
"The reason why is obvious," Singh told Resident Advisor, "the music is incredible, but the reason why it was so good and had so much widespread appeal that crossed linguistic, cultural, religious and geographical boundaries has never really been touched upon."
