- Due on April 26th, the EP Geoglyph features live improvisations and vintage instruments.
Edinburgh-based artist Neil McDonald, AKA Lord Of The Isles, is launching another label.
Called Dusk Delay, the new venture takes inspiration from the evening twilight of summer nights in the northern hemisphere. It follows DFSANT, an imprint that McDonald established in 2017.
Dusk Delay's inaugural offering comes from the Scottish producer himself. Spanning five tracks, Geoglyph encompasses dub techno, deep house and ambient jungle, among other sounds. Slated for April 26th, it's vinyl-only and includes a limited-edition marble edition.
Last year, the prolific producer put out a string of EPs that included Planet Stories, Glisk Science and Whities 029. Read our review of that latter release. To learn more about his atmospheric sound, revisit our profile from 2014.
