Several 1980s works by Japanese legend Haruomi Hosono will be pressed on wax for the first time since their original release.
Touching on electronic, jazz and folk, S·F·X, Coincidental Music, The Endless Talking, Paradise View and Mercuric Dance are due on March 31st. S·F·X, Hosono's first solo LP after the breakup of Yellow Magic Orchestra, arrives via the artist's own Non-Standard label and Teichiku Entertainment, while the others come courtesy of Monad Records and Teichiku Entertainment.
This marks Paradise View's first-ever release on vinyl, according to Discogs. S·F·X, originally out in 1984, was last reissued on wax in 1988, and the remaining three haven't been available on vinyl since their initial 1985 release, Discogs shows.
These reissues follow Light In The Attic's pressings of four Hosono LPs (Vu Ja De, Hana ni Mizu, Heavenly Music and HoSoNoVa) from last October.
