  • Matt Stephenson from Machine Girl and Bonnie Baxter from Kill Alters will release another album as Prolaps on Hausu Mountain Records on March 20th. Ultra Cycle Pt. 1: Vernal Birth sees the duo return to the studio to follow up their 2020 LP Pure Mud Volume 7. The label explains that the new record harnesses their past work's chaotic energy while upping the dance-floor friendliness, drawing influence from disparate styles like jungle, new age, happy hardcore and EDM. Clocking in at two hours, Vernal Birth marks the beginning of a prolific year for Prolaps. A further three albums in the Ultra Cycle series are slated for the coming solstice and equinox dates in June, September and December, totalling around eight hours of new music in 2021. Listen to "Keep Worrying, Details To Follow."
