A new GoGo Penguin remix album is on the way.
11 artists, including Machinedrum, Yosi Horikawa Squarepusher, James Holden, Nathan Fake, 808 State and Clark, have remixed tracks from GoGo Penguin, the Manchester band's self-titled fifth album, which came out last June through Blue Note. GGP/RMX is out May 7th.
Formed in 2012, GoGo Penguin comprises Chris Illingworth (piano), Nick Blacka (double bass) and Rob Turner (drums). The band fuses jazz, rock, trip-hop, electronica and modern classical.
